Re: Twisted thoughts is Indeed Correct as Heck!!!

3020 - Mueller never used the word "guilt" except in one circumstance. That was  "These indictments contain allegations, and we are not commenting on the guilt or the innocence of any specific defendant. Every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty."

I hope you guys read that correctly.

However he did say "If we had had confidence that the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so," Mueller said. "We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the President did commit a crime."

Check for yourself - Here is the entire transcript of statement: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/29/us/politics/mueller-transcript.html

Re: Twisted thoughts is Indeed Correct as Heck!!!

That is a very stupid statement coming from any prosecutor. His job is to find guilt not innocence. His statement should have been president Trump is innocent as we did not find any guilt.

yes, 3020, it seems pretty straightforward on how the presumption of innocence works....only a koolaid drinker could mess it up so much.

His statement should have been president Trump is innocent as we did not find any guilt.

But the report posts out several instances where he was guilty of obstruction.

How many judges have now signed the letter saying they would have convicted any other person for those obstruction efforts.

Your president is above the law, like a king or dictator,  so Mueller could not charge him.

No he did not. He never used the word guilty. At least that's what Knapper said.
