Veiled threat or new tactic?

I guess from now on we are to check with the islamic extremist on how we do business in this country. If we don't they may turn violent. Can sharia be far behind. Better get Barney Frwank out of the spot light. His life style could cause some extremist to attack our troops or other interest in this country and around the world. Hollywood better cool it with the skin flicks, might get some one hurt.

The imam behind a proposed Islamic community center and mosque near ground zero cautioned Wednesday that moving the facility could cause a violent backlash from Muslim extremists and endanger national security.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf told CNN that the discourse surrounding the center has become so politicized that moving it could strengthen the ability of extremists abroad to recruit and wage attacks against Americans, including troops fighting in the Middle East.

"The headlines in the Muslim world will be that Islam is under attack," he said, but he added that he was open to the idea of moving the planned location of the center, currently two blocks north of the World Trade Center site.

"But if you don't do this right, anger will explode in the Muslim world," he later said, predicting that the reaction could be more furious than the eruption of violence following the 2005 publication of Danish cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.

Proof that terrorism works, wouldn't you say? Wonder where Collin Powell stands on the subject. Has he learned how to bow?

Yep, Burn it, and burn their flag too. They burn ours. Then get our troupsl the he-ll out of the mid east completely, NOT this 50,000 left behind crap. Get em all home. That will save a $trillion dollars a year

Re: Veiled threat or new tactic?

I'm in favor of that.  Only problem with that is like with Iraq after GW1 and the no-fly zone and the satellite coverage of every move Saddam made, the repubs will get back in power some day and attack someone over there and put our troops back there to get killed again.

Re: Veiled threat or new tactic?

I haven't heard any of you lefties getting in on this issue, why?  Now do you think he (Imam Ralph) has the right to say that?  Do you think of it when you tuck your children in at night?  The worse part is it's so  frightening that in all honesty it doesn't even matter that we told you so.  **bleep** you people and your tolerence.  Don't you understand they don't view life the way we do.  Don't you understand they view tolerance as weakness.  Don't you understand the more of us they kill the more of this beutiful country they can claim for islaam.  Don't you understand killing is not a sin for them, it is what gets them into heaven.  You should all be in an uproar about the Indianola schools.

Re: Veiled threat or new tactic?

My bad 4WD, I thought you had actually been making some sense lately, so I thought you were becoming a conservative.  I must have read your previous posts wrong.  Take a little time and read through the Quran translate the words you don't understand.   It's scary sh**.  You gotta admit we've got to unite against this crap.  They are braver than ever.
