... back down to the price just before Putin's invasion of Ukraine.  If India & China are still getting their  $30 discount then Putin is only getting $50-$60 per barrel for his oil.  He's losing money now.  It's going to be hard to pay for his war now.

  Meanwhile, US demand for gasoline continues to decline along with the price.  Gasoline demand in the US is 10% below a year ago @8.4 million barrels per day and continues to decline, the average price dropped to $4.19.  Apparently, people have figured out how to get along without so much gasoline.

Once we get into September, the leaves turn and the furnaces kick in on chilly mornings the traders will start thinking about winter.  Consumers will fill their nearly empty heating oil barrels and propane tanks, winter contracts for heating will be sought.  If Putin and Zelinsky reach an agreement and sing kumbya perhaps fuel will stay "cheap"  by that first Tuesday in November... that`s all the Democrats give a fück about, right?   After that to hell with it...
