I look back at how the covid-19 became covid1984 a turning point to me seems pretty clear.
Everyone was joined in the understanding that lock downs were for a common good to save lives. It was a very difficult time for businesses that were closed and lost all their income and many even their business. The people they employed were out of work. Kids that expected their senior sports seasons were sadly disappointed. Graduates lost their graduations.
You could not go to church, you could not have weddings. You could not have funerals.
People could not visit with loved ones and some that were lost to the pandemic died alone.
But everyone accepted this as something that HAD to be done.
And then George floyd died in Mn. Suddenly many of the people who had told us these sacrifices were necessary were out in the street in large gatherings. Rioting, looting, and multiple funerals for Saint George. All of this was just fine.
That was point when middle America realized the left viewed their lives as inconsequential. That's the point when it became just a political game.
