Maybe they're saving that for the next try at impeachment.  Maybe they could just have one revolving impeachment hearing in search of something.   Make a nice show, hopefully they'll change the writers each season to keep it fresh.  This guy could play Nadler:

Shouldn't forward articles until McGahn and other witnesses relevant to the intial obstruction (that we know of) testify. That appears to be working its way through the courts.

Also the phone records may close the circle on an air tight conspiracy case. But I wouldn't vote on an article there without the "first hand" witnesses.

I would just keep calling witnesses and keep the pressure on to see if the orange snowflake melts.

Or, if the Federalist Originalists ultimately rule that the POTUS is a King, we'll know that too.
