What do you want for american/muslim relations

The American president and the secretary of state are working toward a diplomatic solution for the arab world and the jewish state.

So while we are attemping to reach a difficult goal the american people have decided independently that they will noy be an unbiased arbitration of the political dispute. There is such a howling of ginned up hatred towards muslims in this country that any semblence of fairness has evaporated.

As the wife of the Imam has stated, " the hatred for muslims has mastisized in this country."  

So what do want? A continuation of civil unrest in the middle east or do you want to resolve it? This is nothing more than the same old same old. The creation of an axis of evil or the demonization of all muslims as if that is a great starting point for diplomatic progress. I dare say6 much like redirecting the war on terror fromIslamic jihadists to ordinary muslims. Much like detouring away from Al Qeada to Iraq. It makes no sense.

Do you want to be in a perpetual war at all times. I dare say if America had no enemies, the right would have to create some. Evidently they want to be at war all the time.

I get so sick of you people bastardizing anyone you cannot agree with. And many of you pretend you are christians. How in the world do you ever justify that?

 I do not believe the American People decided--  independently-- to demonize muslims, they were led, however, I do not believe it will help these political hacks win, I think the majority of Americans will not buy these tactics this time around too.   However they are creating more enemies with this hysteria, it begets hysteria in the target and it's the troops who take the heat.

  In a larger view of history related to this mob, there is a ebb and flow of mass insanity, after the outbreak in Europe, it surfaced here and there around the world, like Cambodia, Congo, Uganda-Did Main- these genocide cycles are difficult to prevent and isolate.  There are sinister forces riding what appears to be cyclical imbalance in humans.  It resembles a virus causing insanity in the masses- it is evil from a mystical point of reference, it causes a lemming like behavior, genocide, wars, group hate, chanting crowds.  Psychos are attached to it, they become the leaders, dictators, terrorists and Hollywood make movies glorifying these creatures.

I have a question for you John do you believe America brought on the 9/11 attacks?  How did you feel on 9/12 were you stunned?  Were you scared?  Were you proud?  Cause honestly, from your posts here you sound (along with a few others) like you hate America.

Unfortunately for us, there is no such thing as American/Muslim relations. We have diplomatic relations with nations and in very few cases, with religions. The Vatican has diplomats and a central hierarchy, the Muslim world does not. This limits us to carry out diplomatic relations with nations. Herein lies the problem.

I think few people on this website understand the complexity of the overall problem. They key in on things that are simple to understand as does most of the US. Just look at the popularity of this mosque in NY debate (if you can call it a debate). It's a simple mater, so a great roar rises from the masses. Meanwhile, the root of the problem sits uncontemplated in simple minds.

Each Nation where the Muslim faith is dominant has different ideas over what they want and what they think of the US and Israel. There is no unison. We only hear the loud voices of unreason. We only hear from the villains. What has the Saudi royalist said? Can anyone tell me because I for one do not know.

Christians have had worse relations with Islam in the past. Unlike then, the actions of a few can affect the actions of many.

Lastly, though I have said little to nothing, since this is a religious matter, shouldn't the two religions begin a dialogue? Shouldn't our Christian leaders seek to gather Muslim and Christian leaders together and shouldn't the Muslim leaders seek to do the same? Pie in the sky I suppose.................God and Allah are the same being, but we humans choose to make them different and set their differences with our religions.
