Re: What does this mean?

Well, I`ve said it at least a hunderd times, if the real Jesus walked the earth today, He`d be the most hated man on the planet....and don`t be so damned sure they wouldn`t crucify Him again too.

Smiley Very Happy   What`s comical is some that believe Jesus would "disapprove" of today`s Christianity probably are thinking that Jesus would be more of a hippie and His dissaproval would be towards Jerry Falwell or Christians along those lines.

What does it mean? Absolutely nothing. Just more delusional godbotherers rattling on about something that didn't exist. Strange ay?

Re: What does this mean?

It means that Christian churches are losing members because rather than sticking to the Bible they are acquiescing to the PC crowd.  Once the  Church loses it's structure it no longer is a Church.

Maybe that's why Islam is growing, it's rigid laws and rules give structure to a populace looking for those things.

Maybe, just maybe, the youth are seeing it for exactly what it is.  BS.

Re: What does this mean?

There is one reason that 'believers' will not consider that is probably the most important cause of a decline.........

Critical thinkers are able to see the improbability of religious 'beliefs'.

It is interesting that polls keep indicating 40% church attendance but actual head counts indicate less than 20% attend church on any given Sunday in the US.

Re: What does this mean?

First of all Christianity doesn`t have anything to do with going to church, Jesus wouldn`t want anyone attending a church that leads His people down the wrong, polictically correct path.  I actually think that 89% that think Jesus wouldn`t approve of Christianity today is a really good sign.

A atheist probably has a better chance at being saved than a Christian that has been lead astray.  A rapture believing Christian is very much in danger of following the first self pro-claimed "messiah" that performs a few parlor tricks.  A atheist may see better see through a false messiah, given their skepticism....however if you`re a liberal atheist, the antichrist may be just what you`ve been waiting for.   🙂

Re: What does this mean?

You do realize that the 'antichrist' is christian concept so does not apply to those who do not 'believe' in your religion.

that BTW is a lot more than just atheists

Re: What does this mean?

You have the freewill to believe or not in what you choose Canuck.

However, hypothetically let us say society continues to crumb(Ferguson riots, ISL beheadings and such), Ebola and economic depressions...then a man comes forward with answers.  He calls himself the son of god, he performs miracles,  let`s say a sick kid in your community gets healed just by watching this man on television, let`s say poverty ends, water springs from the desert, crops triple yields everyone in the world has more than they can ever eat, peace breaks out all over the world, Palestinians and Jews break bread together.

And if this man wants open borders and everyone to follow his one world government.  All of this is hypothetical of course, but if you actually see these miracles and this man has your "world view", unless I have you pegged wrong, even you will follow the antichrist, Canuck.  just remember, he won`t be calling himself the "antichrist"  and as I`ve said if we are still on here, you guys will say "What???  Now I believe in god, but you rightos don`t like him because he`s a liberal???  Geesh! yall`d complain about being hanged with a new rope!".
