Re: What is wrong, insulting or outrageous

I find it amazing to see so many Dems getting upset with people ridiculing and criticizing Biden's comments.  These Dems were never shy to do the very same to G. W . Bush and Dan Quayle.

Why is is so hard for people from both parties to admit that their guys do it too.  They all poke fun, ridicule, twist the truth, and even lie about the other guy.

Re: What is wrong, insulting or outrageous

Not at all, but finding his comments directed about the tendonitus is simply ludicrous. He said nothing to her or about her that was demeaning in the least. The chains remark was probably out of line but not nearly as offensive as what Romney has been braying about Obama for two years.

Do you think our current recession is Obama's fault. Do you think he made the recession worse? Do you think he had ANY bipartisan support in trying to stimulate the economy?

If mitt has the solution he could tell us NOW! Instead he thinks we will buy a pig in the poke!

Oh I know you never take a defensive position in favor of your guys.

Re: What is wrong, insulting or outrageous

I'm not famiular with the "tendonitus" incident but did see some story talking about a lady in a wheel chair that Biden mistakenly told to stand up.  I didn't read the whole story as it did not appear to be very news worthy.   I'm wondering if this is the same incident you refered to.

I really don't think it is a big deal if Biden says the wrong state or makes some other minor speaking gaffe.   They are simple mistakes that we all make from time to time.

As I have already said my biggest Biden complaint is his willingness to play the race card for political gain and especially after four years of Dems contantly claiming Repubs are guilty of racism.

I've seen several Dems go on TV and defend Biden's comment, "They're going to put y'all back in chains." made to a Virginia crowd which included several hundred blacks.   Some Biden defenders say Biden simply mispoke or used a poor choice of words.  What they don't tell you is that Biden was reading it right off the teleprompter and was saying exactly what he was supposed to say.  This was not a case of Biden adlibbing or using some words off the top of his head.  This speech was carefully prepared and written ahead of time and I can only assumed was approved by Obama or other top leaders in his campaign.

I'm thinking that by choosing to play the race card in this fashion and at this time that the Obama camp most be thinking this could be a very close race.

If you don't think the voter ID laws are rascist attacks you aren't looking. If those laws would throw thousands of teabaggers off the voting rolls there would be no voter ID laws.

Did you ever find a link to one of those 'thousands' of voters, who were not allowed to vote, because of a voter ID law?

Do you believe there should be a limit on the number of times that people in a cemetery should vote?   Oh I know, if they`re dead Democrats, they should vote in perpetuity.   I wonder if these Mexicans were mostly Republican, you`d be so gung-ho on them being able to skirt the voting laws.
