Actually, I got a new coffee pot and some gift certificates for Longhorn. Much more than I wanted. There is little I want and little I need and if so inclined I'll buy it myself. Although I do appreciate the feeling of giving and my kids deserve that feeling.

My most appreciated gift is the gift of grandkids. I am old now and under employed so I have the time to enjoy those precious moments.

Being a quality grandparent is a gift that cannot be overestimated. There is great variation in that area, but the best mean so very much to their children and grandchildren.
