of course Christie is innocent until proven guilty, but there`s perhaps a reason that republicans are slow to stick their necks out for him.

Just because someone has a big mouth and straight talker is no evidence that they are pure as the driven snow.  The more we see of Christie, the more it would appear that he better fit in the Democrat party.
