Where are we on the Venezuela train?

As all the Democratic candidates seem bent on making the USA another Venezuela I wondered where we are on their time line.

Re: Where are we on the Venezuela train?

well.....yeah....but....well....that's different!

It was evil American corporations that did it! (Bruce paraphrase....also echoed by my college professor in-law)

So the problem was...what....not enough socialism fast enough?

Bruce...want to chime in with your own words, with something comprehensible for a change? Honestly, most of the time I cannot follow your posts....it is like you have a form of dyslexia, and you are not the only progressive type with that disease.

Everyone...why are conservatives so straight forward and liberals so obtuse?

My genius college physics professor was pretty easy to understand....someone said that if you actually know what you are talking about, it is pretty easy to articulate your thoughts.

Liberals express their hatred of Trump pretty well, if only they`d be as critical of communism as strongly.

Re: Where are we on the Venezuela train?

The progs are constantly reminding us that they are in the majority, so do you ever wonder why they just don't voluntarily form collectives to accomplish whatever they choose?    I mean, if you consider that half the country could voluntarily form their own health care collective, and prove it to be so successful that the other half would gladly join, voluntarily.

Do you wonder why they don't, I mean they constantly tell us how great it is in countries that do it by force?

I wonder if its the same reason they don't voluntarily cut their co2 emissions.

Sam, doesn't history tell us why progressives never live by the plan they have for everyone else.

2 things are clear.historically ..........1)They never have to live by their own plans, so they always need someone else to pay for the plan...  and 2) they'd rather steal from a neighbor than work to pay for the plan themselves.  Because they are always smarter than everyone else in the room, state, country etc.  Because anyone who doesn't see it like they do can't be intelligent......... it is how you justify the loosers who will naturally, pay for your plans.

Venezuela for some foolish reason did not invade Columbia and confiscate all assets to pay for the plan.  then march the columbians through the amazon to work in the soybean fields of Brazil for the chinese who are comfortable with holding large populations in fear for many decades.

The Chinese on the other hand let Japan lead the way in destroying the idea of democracy in one of the worlds largest countries.  Mountains and a wall form the prison that can easily hold a billion or so..... the only modernization they have undergone is to rent out their cheap labor to deep pockets that need to get away from regulations they expect others to live by.  Our Tech firms are living the socialist dream now.... profiting beyond belief from socialism while living in freedom tax free.

Socialism is not for the socialist, it's for the peasants. So they can all equally carry the socialist on their backs. Socialist live like kings and queens while they, the peasants, toil to meet the needs of the socialist.

74 years of The United Fruit Company and her clones in concert with the US state machine turning policy in Latin Central and So American and Caribbean nations into an art form.

Nothing new or unpredictable with Venezuela.
