Where does such PURE EVIL come from ?
Where do you suppose these Monsters got this idea ?
A 25 year-old Oregon woman was today found guilty of murdering her four year-old son after the jury was shown Facebook messages in which the woman expressed revulsion because she believed that her child was destined to be gay.
Washington County jurors took a little more than an hour to reach a unanimous verdict. They found her guilty on all seven counts, including murder, murder by abuse and second-degree assault. Dutro showed no reaction to the decision, read about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. The case drew widespread attention after prosecutors asked the court to allow Facebook messages from Dutro into evidence. In one message to her boyfriend, Brian Canady, Dutro wrote using a slur that Zachary would be gay. "He walks like it and talks like it ugh," she wrote. That made her angry, she added, and directed Canady to "work on" Zachary "big time." Prosecutors told the court the message showed Dutro's motive for subjecting Zachary to a pattern of abuse. Judge Don Letourneau deemed the messages admissible.
A description of the child's injuries are at the link and may be too much for you to bear.
Basiclly they kicked the GAY out of him so hard they broke his ribs and caused his intestines to rupture resulting in him becoming Septic and suffering a most excrutiating painful death but I guess thats better than raising a happy healthy gay boy.
This is what happens when you barf out your anti gay rhetoric !!

Evil is a choice indeed
There is no excuse for abusing a child, period.
I don't understand the anti-gay sentiment that is prevelent among certain political groups, but I don't think anyone in their right mind would approve of child abuse. As you seem to be pointing out however, as a society, we can create a climate in which abuse becomes far more likely. Once we villanize a group of people, the potential for abuse and crime becomes far more easy to become a reality.
Some see being gay as a "choice" one makes in their lives or an illness that can be cured. That thinking is the milk and bread of the ignorant. I wonder at what age these people came face to face with their "choice" to be gay or straight. I can't remember making such a choice.....you?

She should have used Religious Freedom. Laws don't apply if you use those magic words.

This is the kind of case the death penalty is for. The woman and her boy friend are nuts and can never be trusted in society again. Unfortunately they will both probably be back on the streets in a matter of years not decades.

You are probably right in that so many states are trying to get hate gay bills passed. Anyone who kills a gay becomes a hero in your world. One thing for sure. If someone harms my nephew, to paraphrase what Liam Neeson said in "Taken", "I will find them!"

What would you say if the mother aborted her child because she thought the child would be gay? Would you think that is wrong?

Re: Evil is a choice indeed
Well stated Knapper.
I wonder if there should be blame attributed to those who encourage the anti gay sentiment.
Some of those are religious people who claim their god is against gays.
Reminds me of the quote by someone that it take religion to make good people do bad things.

Re: Where does such PURE EVIL come from ?
I didn't ask you but, what is your answer? Would it be wrong for that mother to have aborted her child if she thought it would be gay?
