What makes you think this woman believes in any God. How about the boyfriend who also beat the child? Sounds to me like religion was the farthest thing from their mind. To them this was just a post birth abortion.

i did not say she believes in any god.

What I did say was that some religions claim their god does not accept gays and I tried to repeat a quote I had remembered that related to the influence religion can have on the way otherwise good people act sometimes and give them reason or excuses to do bad things.

'Maybe' it was religion, or 'maybe' it was pro-abortion sentiment.

I have never, ever, ever, ever heard anyone preaching in my 'religion' that it was OK to harm a child.

However, I have heard, more than once, abortion supporters speak out that abortions are no big deal, even if they occur after the child was born, particularly if they were somehow deformed, or even if they caused the parents (mother in particular), to have 'great stress'.  How do we know thatthe cheapening of human life because of something like that, wasn't the cause?

Why not wait until the facts come out, before assigning 'blame'?
For now, can't we just agree, that it was 'evil', see if there was a root cause, and only then see if there should be farther blame assessed?

Not hard to agree that it was a bad thing that she did.

As long as you have people who claim gays are bad and that their god condemns them for being gay these people give support to others who are also homophobic.

It is a pretty stupid question but this once I will play your little game. I'm only in favor of abortion in 3 cases--life of the mother, rape and incest. You can support this killing all you want but like her you will rot in hell for condoning murder of gays! BTW this woman is obviously mentally ill! You may be also.

Maybe it was bad drugs that made her "think" her son was gay. What ever the reason, you need to "preach" to people like demlife about not assigning blame.
