Who said this today?
On the International stage?
"Communism is a failed system -- a universally failed system. And I don't see socialism as a very useful substitute. But that's another story."

Re: Who said this today?
Doocy: Now that you’ve had a few days to think about it, does this White House still think the protests in Cuba are happening because people are upset about a rise in COVID cases there, or is there some thought maybe you’ve given to the possibility that they are protesting because they are sick of communism?
Psaki: Well, uh, Peter, first I would say communism is a failed ideology, and we certainly believe that. It has failed the people of Cuba. They deserve freedom. They deserve a government that supports them, whether that is, uh, making sure they have health and medical supplies, uh, access to vaccines, or whether they have economic opportunity and prosperity. And instead, this has been a government, an authoritarian, communist regime, that has repressed its people and has failed the people of Cuba, hence we’re seeing them in the streets. But I would note that ideology of the government, which has failed, has led to a lack of access to economic opportunity, to medical supplies, to COVID vaccines, so all of those pieces are true. It was old socialist joe; proving the old adage that "actions speak louder than words".
Old socialist joe's handlers may have him "circling back" tomorrow with the excuse: it was the dementia talking.

Wish peppermint patti would condemn fascism instead of embracing it. Said today the junta was flagging post on Facebook it wanted removed.
Private enterprise under the direction of the state. Moussolini would be so proud.

* gets it....after a few days to think about it.
* probably saw the polling, too. Real Americans don't really cotton to communism. * is on the outs with the squad, though.

Re: Who said this today?
Remember when the twins were all in on Bernie? Remember when Bernie was railing about millionaires?
Funny what a few million dollars re-directed to Mr. Sanders from the Clinton slush fund can do.

Understandable concern in the ag community regarding the qualified non-endorsement of socialism.

Re: Who said this today?
Socialism has destroyed the family farmers. The rich love it. Socialism always transfers money from working Americans to the richest.
