Re: Why Franken was thrown under the bus
The world pretty much predicted that she’d win so personal accusations wear rather thin.
The only people of any note who can bè pointed out as having predicted the correct result were deemed goofy liberals who were astute enough to sense Dem voter apathy.

Re: Why Franken was thrown under the bus
If al is in a cabinet then no one really cares about the accusations. It's just a front.

Re: Why Franken was thrown under the bus
That would be up to two Senate bodies. The one who’se ethics committee investigated him and then to the version that would vote on his confirmation.

She for free health care and free college? She for forgiveness of student loans? Does she want my guns? Open borders? Or is her claim to fame women parts?

No idea. He didn’t set a date. Assuming he will, but seems to want that due process thing. Can’t blame him.

Re: the bus
Franken is obviously a pawn, sacrificial lamb the words of his non-apologetic speech were barely out of his mouth and Bernie Sanders and other Dems were calling on Moore and Trump to resign...theater!
With Moore, given the allegations are 40yrs old and sprung onto the campaign one month before the election and he denies them and at least one of the accusers was guilty of tampering with her yearbook "evidence". Given all these facts, the people of Alabama`s only choice is to give him the benefit of the doubt and elect him and let the ethics committee investigate and go from there. If it`s true, boot him out and the governor can appoint another Republican or primary him and nominate another Republican when his term is up.
