Here is an interesting article about psychopaths and their ability to thrive and get ahead.  And that does iclude politics with that "ends justifies the means" world view.

The show "24" shows Jack Bauer in "no win" situations having to survive by going into gray areas, "it takes a bad guy to defeat the bad guys".   If there is a court trial against you, you would want your lawyer to be a psychopath in order to tear apart those on the witness stand testifying against you. 

Don asked in a lengthy thread about "why does God let bad things happen?"  Well, we have allowed ourselves to be ruled by unGodly psychopaths, this country is no longer "The Donna Reed Show", therefore I doubt that God hears our prayers as a nation any longer.

"....haughty lovers of pleasure, rather than lovers of God..."  I think that is a pretty good description of the world today.  And to ask God to bless that, is something that probably won`t happen.

No you're wrong. There are people that love God and strive to follow his commandments. Christians that try to be christians. Not haters not subject to hate.

Then there are the pseudo christians that claim to be devout, but seize every opportunity to diminish other folks and demand that they accept your dogma as fact. People with the true faith are not sinless but they don't have the superiority complex and don't decry how foul everyone else is.

There is a special place for christians like you...HELL. JUdge not lest you be judged comes from your bible. I don't have such constraints because I am not going to heaven or hell. Neither exists, so I will be carefully planted under the sod.

You on the other hand have to live up to expectations of your religion. You **bleep** well better shape up or you will have an unpleasant eternity. I hope you do because should you do that you may become the least bit tolerable around here. In other words, you ought to stop sinning yourself before you work on us!

All day long Im going to hell, my marriage is a fraud, I can get fired for being born, kicked out of house and church and yet im NOT the victim here ????
