  The Democrats aren`t  putting up with any lapses in molality, I hear they`re ready to purge Ellinson.   But they`ll take your guns, force you to bake a gay wedding cake and let you kill your baby....but by God if you ever have a spat with your girlfriend, you better hope she didn`t record it, that`s a bridge too far.

I don`t like Ellinson, of course, however his former girlfriend comes forward with this a couple days before the primary???  Couples have spats and regretful things are said in private, but now thanks to that little super computer in everyone`s pocket that oh by the way also makes phone calls, the whole world is privy the most intimate moments, good bad or ugly.

The whole episode is racist and ignorant.  Ellison is a Muslim and his treatment of women is consistent with his world view and his religion.  We should be tolerant of other life views and styles.

Not every race called but a spectacular primary turnout in Minnie.  Particularly on the D side.

on election night, the MN FOX affiliate ran pictures of a defiant Keith Ellison winning, and also of the Somalian Muslim woman winning in Keith Ellison's vacated House representative slot, for at least 50 percent of the late night coverage. This included coverage of their live speeches at length.

I imagine there was a calculated reason for this coverage.

I see the Dems didn`t throw Ellison under the bus, he got 50% of the votes, one of the experts they talk to on KA AA L tv say that Dems feel remorse for having kicked Franken out   🙂    I see my cousin Hagedorn did well  Yay  🙂      

Jeff Johnson will face rubber lip for governor this fall.  I just catch spill over news into Iowa, but I thought Pawlenty would get it again.

$2 million dollars of attack ads against Tim Pawlenty by the Democrats pre-primary worked.

The Democrats got to pick both their candidate, and the republican candidate for governor.

MN republicans should do well in the congressional races, they should be competitive in the senate races, should win the AG race, but may not get the governorship back. 

Maybe showing Walz at the Public TV debate jumping up and down saying we need to legalize drugs will help but then again, knowing how the population is shifting, maybe not.

It's not 1950 anymore and Leave it to Beaver, Mayberry RFD, etc. are only on in syndication. The aging hippies may have won the cultural wars.

Will be interesting to see if the law and order AG candidate for the republicans blows out the law breaking, marital vow breaking, Ellison in the AG race. If it is even close, I am going to shudder worrying about the future of the rule of law in MN.
