What Kings has she made?  I can usually understand where you are coming from on things, much as I tend to generally disagree.  

She's become a caricature.  Who would make up a following that could crown anyone to any seat?

I know Sarah♥ doesn`t hold much clout in the Rosie ODonnel camp.  But Ted Cruz owes her alot, Donald Trump sure wasn`t hurt by her endorsement in the primaries.  John McCain probably wouldn`t have won his senate seat back without her working for him.

I don`t know her record right off but it`s pretty good and any Republican politician shuns her is at their own peril.

What has Cruz accomplished other than getting elected in Texas?  Not quite sure how she could have changed anybody's mind from against to for Trump.  Support for Trump seems to have been static since he entered the race.  If one was of a mind to support him they would have noticed him on their own without some fading, retread pol pointing him out to them.

What I`m looking at will be the result of the Ryan and Trump meeting. Will Ryan come out of it endorsing Trump?  Or will he be bullheaded?  That will tell the strength of Trump`s legs.  If the "George Will wing" of the party is stronger, then Ryan may side with them, risking his political future in the establishment hands.

There is risk here, what if the stock market crashes in the summer and it is successfully spun as "the market is afraid of a Trump presidency"?  Nervous Nellies will vote for Hillary and then the spin on November 9th will be "Hatred and bigotry lost! Capitalism lost and this is the first day of the Age of Aquarius!!!"  ..and the left will have a point, "your candidate lost so suck it Rightos!".   If Ryan thinks that may happen, he will want a 20 foot pole between him and the Donald.

I'm trying to understand why Ryan should be under any obligation to endorse Trump?  There is a sizable portion of the party who may see him as a last line of defense against something that obviously terrifies them.  

Those folks will still be there when, in the event that he does, Trump blows over.

What happens then was my question when I started the poker thread.  What does Trumpism morph into if his campaign fails and the party experiences significant losses?  FWIW, that is what "the chalk" says is going to happen.  At fairly solid odds.

BTW, in one list of the 35 least effective congressmen Steve King was #1.

I'd think he'd be the perfect replacement for Ryan- absolutely in line with the nihilism of the base.

The basic roadmap of the Great Turning is in place, we just need to fill out the players in the lineup. With Pres. Clinton we'll need a leader of the GOP led congress which will spend 15 minutes a day passing resolutions to repeal Obamacare, impeach the President and probably deport everyone who isn't white, then goes over to the call center to spend the rest of the day Dailing for Dollars.
