OK, never heard of him so I had to do a web search.

Bill Weld said 3 years ago said he was a Libertarian for life, supported Obama twice; and Hillary in the last election, registered as a Republican last week?

Might be an opportunity for some mischief in states with open primaries.

 

But the Reality TV/WWE  POTUS has his put brand on 90% of the herd of Bundy mutt cattle that now comprise the GOP.

 

Problem is that only comprises about 35% of the electorate.
