Actually, I am quite weary of the testosterone fueled macho violent attitude. I would love to a reasoned logical attitude permeate the halls of congress. We have tried those macho guys for decades and we only get more of the same. Spending our money and sending our youth into harms way. How many young men and women killed or physically and mentally damaged before their wives and mothers say enough is enough.

I don't want to send my kids or grand kids to war and I don't want to send yours either.

Didn't hear Jimmy's original statements, but listened to later commentators which characterized his statements as saying Blacks are better athletes than whites.  Apparently they generalized his statements.   An article mentioned that some outfit in the 1850's  located in northern Missouri or the southern tip of Illinois was studding a huge black man and selling the off-spring.  Can't  remember how many children but well over 400.   Expect his descendants number in the thousands.  Some might be surprised if it was in Illinois because was not a slave state, but it did recognize slave ownership.  Regardless the politics have always been so crooked that even if slavery was illegal it wouldn't be tough for those with money and access to circumvent existing laws.  Also could agree with the black race being considerably diluted.   Many years ago an MD uncle provided gynaecological medical services in Africa.  He came back and told my mother that we have few true blacks in America.   He stated unlike all the blacks he had seen in the US, the African blacks were black inside as well as outside.  At that time I was very young so heard this tidbit much later and even then didn't ask for further explanation.
