Since this is posted in the marketing forum, is your premise that an attempt alleviate these conditions will lead to an increase in corn demand for increased ethanol production? Or an increase in LNG demand to replace coal?

That is why I was assuming volcanic because of the speed of travel .

That blast from iceland that happened in 08 or 09 took a very extended time to work its way out of eastern europes atmosphere.
