I was to the left of Trump, the screen's right. Right in front. 

The gal in the blue dress is a classmate of mine, from high school. I let her go in front of me so that she could get Mr. Trump to sign a book she had that he wrote.

Did you look at the Ducks Signature up above?  It looks like a futures chart.  Maybe he's simply plotting what happens to his supporters each time he opens his mouth without being told what to say!!!????

He did that later, in Green Bay. His message was on point, went after the Hildebeest and Zero, ..... Hard. 

A few protesters got in, but the Secret Service dogged them and they said nothing. 

I did notice the Secret Service took a cell phone and did a Panoramic picture before the event from the podium.  Probably to use later if something were to happen. They definitely are using face recognition technology to flag known "problem" people.

Since I let my old classmate up to the front, I didn't get to shake Trump's hand, but I did get to tell Governor Pence "thank you" and shook his. Many people also took the time to shake hands with the Des Moines Police officers that were there, and to thank them for their service, which I did, also.

Yes, I did. She and her husband farm north of town, and I am a gentleman. I am very tall and she is tall also, but not 6'4". We graduated from Indianola High School together and we are also on the planning committee for our 40th reunion next year.

Well, shucks, carigy, I chaired the class of '61 reunions and annual picnics for 30 yrs before moving to AZ!  That and a dollar will get me a cup of coffee!
