You've got your man

Santorum is going to win Michigan and Mitt will be finished. No way out. You won't have the uncomfortable Mormon issue to deal with anymore. You'll have the genuine article on the ticket. Who do you suppose the VP nominee will be? Wondering if the GOP Convention shoudn't be covered excusively by Comedy Central.

Re: You've got your man

Hey Bruce, I have no more "problems" with Santorum than any of the other candidates.  There always has been more support for Santorum than was reported, he won Iowa. For some reason the establishment on both sides were hoping for Romney, the media in some circles treats him like a red-headed stepchild. One thing that I like about Santorum is that he doesn`t have a "filter" in the past politicians needed to sugar coat things to win, if he`s the nominee we`ll see how the general election voters like a straight talker.  If the voters don`t have their brains riddled with flouride, Santorum will use 0bama`s head for a mop and butt for a broom, come November.  I still think Romney will be the nominee, it`s just now his work is cut out for him.

Re: You've got your man

I agree that it is probably going to be Mitt ROmney, Mr. Establishment, come the end of the primaries. If they keep throwing crap at Rick, sooner or later some of may stick.

What is it about a Catholic president potential that gets the libs with their privates all knotted up? Could it be that the left actually is anti-Christian? Will Rick Santorum listen to the pope and guide America under the wing of the Vatican? Are people really that offended by believers?

Just asking, I personally am not sure the Rick won't bomb Iran to kingdom come and start WW III. The guy could be the best thing to ever happen to America or the worst. My two cents says that he isn't even on the ticket come November.

BUt it would set up a very interesting contest, especially if he picks Rand Paul as a running mate and gets the Paul camp aboard, too.  One thing about Santorum, he doesn't have to act....he is the real deal.

Re: You've got your man

If the GOP really wants to cast off the womens votes then they should nominate Santorum There are just to many video clips of his past remarks.

Tonights debate just may be interesting.

Rumor is that Paul and Romney have cut a deal in that Paul never attacks Romney while attacking either Santorum or Gingrich.

Going to get funky

Mitt has come out and said that austerity is no way to go.   He's a pro moneterizatoin,  stimulus supporting Keynesian

Seriously, doesn't he have campaign advisors?

Re: You've got your man

There isn't anything about him being a Catholic.  JFK was a Catholic.  We just don't like his idea of establishing a national religion which seems to be what is lying just beneath the surface.

Re: You've got your man

He is a few weeks early with that flop. He has to win the right before he can hope to win the middle.

Don't forget mitt. First the primaries and then the general. Don't get any more confused than you already are.

I heard the gospel according to santorum this AM and I fully expect him to pass the offering tray tonight at the debate. If Santorum wins the nomination he will have won nothing. He is losing the general as he speaks.

"The One" was out in Cal-E-fornia this past week, courtesy of Taxpayer Airlines, passing the offering plate to his Limousine Liberal / Socialist friends, was he not?

Folks said the very same thing about some "B" reel actor named Ronald Something-or-another.   "Har Har Har, yup, Carter will win reelection for shore if they put that actor on the ticket! Har Har Har."

(How did that one work out for ya???)

Really Doubt that JFK was anything religious

Granted, Catholic priests seem to have a thing for gay love and young boys, but for the most part I think Roman Catholics worship God, just in their own peculiar fashions. Just like the rest of the Christians.

By the actions of the Kennedys, I would doubt that they worshiped any higher authority except for money.

Real immoral bunch.

Re: You've got your man

As Johnny Carson pointed out during a Republican campaign past.

"Don't know why they're fighting so hard.....ONE of them is going to lose NOW, and the other one is going to lose in November."

And so did it come to pass.
