And when they recover from a milder, briefer case they'll be highly immune.

I doubt, hope, that most people are not living in the petri dish which the prison is.

Viral loading is a big deal, always has been.

If you get hit with a big chunk the odds are much higher that the infection will take hold before memory B cells can respond.

Re: again, no difference

There are some unmeasurable variables like the probably fact that vaccinated people are still more cautious, come into contact with covidiots less frequently, etc.

But the real world evidence doesn't seem to jibe, quantitatively speaking, with that laboratory experiment.

All of which means it provides no protection from infection or transmission.

Re: again, no difference

Hey Sam - what is the rate of death between those vaccinated with a breakthrough case and those un-vaccinated with COVID? What does the No-Vax Sam Bible say on that one?

CDC

  • The risk for SARS-CoV-2 infection in fully vaccinated people cannot be completely eliminated as long as there is continued community transmission of the virus. Early data suggest infections in fully vaccinated persons are more commonly observed with the Delta variant than with other SARS-CoV-2 variants. However, data show fully vaccinated persons are less likely than unvaccinated persons to acquire SARS-CoV-2, and infections with the Delta variant in fully vaccinated persons are associated with less severe clinical outcomes. Infections with the Delta variant in vaccinated persons potentially have reduced transmissibility than infections in unvaccinated persons, although additional studies are needed.

Knap, you're changing the subject.   As I recall you dont like when people do that.  Start another thread if you like.

"Although additional studies are needed"

And I gave you (another) one that proves the point.  Quite emphatically.   Science.
