agriculture should not be complex

It is bacon, hash browns and eggs on the consumer's plate in the morning for breakfast, not rocket science.

I am more concerned with healthful and wholesome food for all of mankind and his domestic animals, not money and economics.

I am sick of chemicals, preservatives, artificial colors/flavors in the foods I buy.

Organic farming is the wave of the future and it should be the standard for world food production.

Re: agriculture should not be complex

I thought we were rid of you. There must be sites where you can expound your theories to little children. Go and get a real job, borrow a bank of money and have a go at living in the real world.

Organic farming gives the participant nothing more than a warm inner glow. It is unsustainable and I have yet to see an organic farmer with a stand alone profitable enterprise. They usually have a wife who earns the supplementary balance of his losses.

You are a dreamer mate and to force your idiotic ignorant dreams on professional farmers is like being in a cage with a lion so if you want to go further go ahead. Bring a crash helmet though.

Re: agriculture should not be complex

One has to wonder why the average lifespan of humans has gone up so much in this country when be eat all those chemicals, perservatives, artificial colors/flavors, and GMO's.  Must be cause we ain't eating worms and chicken sh*t that organics are full of.  A less than advertised thing in the vegetable linked illness and deaths of the past few years is that they were mostly organically grown.

I am living on disability. You thought wrong if you thought you were rid of me. Professional farmers don't bash their baby piglets on the concrete floor either to kick in agony and die slowly. If livestock has to be put down, they are properly shot between the eyes.

I don't need a helmet but I do have a gun and a couple of German shepherds for lion protection.

I do have a camera and YouTube which is a great weapon against unethical ag practices.

I have seen Food, Incorporated so how stupid do you think I am now?

Well. That clearly demonstrates how unfamiliar you are with real piggeries and humane des patching of small piglets. I can assure you your beliefs are in Disneyland.

You sound like a brave little soul. A gun and two dogs as an extension of your ego. Of course a crash would be of no benefit because there is nothing to protect.

I do have a camera and YouTube which is a great weapon against unethical ag practices.

I would like to catch you on my premises buddy. You would end up with more than disability from me.

I have seen Food, Incorporated so how stupid do you think I am now?

Who are food incorporated? Who cares about them? Do you get a government pension funded by the taxpayer? What type of disability other than you are brain dead? Does that give you a moral licence to judge all animal keepers? What would be your experience with agriculture and especially intensive livestock production or do just get a warm fuzzy feeling about trying to save the world?

Re: agriculture should not be complex

Oh.  You watched an agenda based anti-commercial ag documentary.  I'd say you're still pretty stupid to come on here and say that all ag needs to go organic and treat animals better.

Jon, I think agriculture is very complex.  I think we need more hobby, niche, and commodity operations.

He's ok. He is just another fruit loop with total inexperience on how the world operates. He spends his days extracting sunrays from potatoes.
