between dad an me we've seen a bizarre world
Dad was born before the first airplane flew and lived to see a man walk on the moon.
I was born when America was fighting for it's life and then fought communism and now they're running for the presidency and they have support. How has the world gotten so stupid after Reagan?

Guys standing on street corners in sand which boards in 1948 and 1952 saying that Harry Truman was a Communist. They finally got him beat in’52 and elected the quantitatively most progressive President we’ve ever had.
He served 8 years as a dyed in the wool small s socialist and globalist and the anti-Communist sentiment grew stronger nonetheless . It actually was more of a Christianist and plutocracy movement but enough folks bought in. Particularly where they could mix ethnicity into the cocktail.
Your Dad...and mine...served in a struggle against Fascism. Not sure why you might be supporting it now. Wonder what he’d have to see if he saw it in those terms.

Fascism is the government taking money from you for not entering into a contract with a third party.

Re: between dad an me we've seen a bizarre world
What are you talking about? Fascism is:
"dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy"
" a totalitarian one-party state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties."
President Trump is the antithesis of these things. He's been deregulating, notice the reduced conflict by America, and regimentation has been the hallmark of the left.
Indeed let's look at what those candidates in the Democratic party are proposing; higher taxes, more regulation, control of corporations, more involvement in world affairs.

So no attribution for the first and then a link to something that makes no reference to the former.
it’s defined ONLY by it having been declared and put into action. Otherwise it’s a concept. A proposal. Where on God’s earth do you find a way to fit in this one party thing to the coming of fascism. That’s a result, not a precept.
The deregulation is a feature, not a bug. And probably one of the primary things that will plaque the GOP over the next couple of dozen years.

A Feature of what? Not a bug? What's that mean? Are you not in favor of deregulation? Why not let the consumer decide?
