What is holding the Mexican people back from working themselves out of poverty?  Is it high taxes? Is it over regulation? Is it crony "Hillary Clinton-like" corporatism?

My daughter is good friends with a Mexican girl that graduated at the local high school. She taught me many Spanish words and phrases. She had a green card. Her family needed her back in Mexico and she got a job teaching English as second language in Mexico. She isn't in poverty. She is a hard worker. People in poverty , most often, choose to be in poverty.

The biggest problem you people have is you don't know the difference between Capitalism and Democratic Socialism, WILLFUL IGNORANCE! Vladimir Lennin started a political party, 100 years ago. He called it the Social Democratic Party of Russia. Sounds pretty harmless, doesn't it?  History and the 100 million dead people touched by what he started might suggest otherwise.

the video does an absolutely stellar job of explaining why capitalistic societies thrive and the socialistic/communistic ones are crapholes that good people are willing to risk death or imprisonment to escape from.

Cuba, Obama's socialistic paradise has its people living in abject poverty, with lots of natural resources and an outstanding climate. Singapore has virtually no resources but an immensely capitalistic society, no income taxes, and one of the highest per capita incomes in the world.

Venezuala, another of Obama's shining examples of how to do it right, has the highest proven oil resources in the world, and because of its socialism, is another absolute shathole. Right down the line...time and time again, its's already been proven by real world examples and by people voting with their feet.

Yet, some people still refuse to get the scales off their eyes and see and would support a doorknob like Sanders. Probably no help for people like that.

When America was trading with them before the embargo, the island was quite successful.  When we put that in place, there was little trade from anyone in the world.  No wonder they suffered mightily.  Why don't you want us to trade with them?  What's the problem?
