Re: comparing school cost

Just re-read Sammy's post. He said that the catholic school charges $3000TUITION and public school costs $11000 to educate each pupil. Pretty easy to assume he was comparing apples to apples. Problem is that the church picks up all the other pesky little charges that all schools have to come up with. Your turn 20.

Re: comparing school cost

I thought most could comprehend I was comparing tuition to cost, because I used the word tuition in reference to one and cost to the other.   And because most people understand public school funding at the basic level.

Then my kids don't belong in religious schools.  With regards to my children I am the boss.

Just  a tip, if you're going to point out dumb asses and imbeciles, use coherent, complete sentences.

Sammo - nice to see we have an english major on this site.   Sorry that you demand coherent complete sentences.  But I speak "simpleton" so you can understand.  Seems to me you got the drift of what I was trying to say.   Nice to see you are the boss of your children, you send them to school to get educated and that is not accomplished when dumb ass parents believe they know more than those they hire to teach them.   Nice to see you are an authority figure for someone, at least you have a captive audience. BOSS!!!!!  Adios Amigo. John

Re: comparing school cost

Interesting, but wouldn't the only way to actually "save" money be for school taxes to be lowered on personal and real property taxes? If the taxes remain the same, who is saving money?

Re: comparing school cost

Yes. Anyone who goes that route obviously pay the tuition and the taxes to support public schools. The question is if a private entity can do it cheaper than the public why not allow vouchers at the lower level and save the public money?

I completely agree

Too much political grandstanding, by people in Washington, second-guessing things, and adding silly burecratic rules for every little thing.

Get them out of the schools, and let them be run by the States, and local school boards, like they used to be, back when we had some of the best schools in the world.

Nothing like a whole bunch of exaggeration to arouse the rabble! If Bs were music you would be an orchestra.
