It is bad to take money from any lobby in exchange for a vote. It is an impediment to the democratic process and all of congress does it. When our ideals align with the bought vote, we think it's all good and fine, and when our ideals clash with that vote, we think it is terrible. The solution is not to take any money in exchange for a vote. If special interests want to spend tons of money in exchange for votes, then they should try it out on voters, not congressmen. It is all well and good for our votes to sway congress because that is what democracy is about.
