I believe Courts can do that. They can rule legislation unconstitutional as well. And have. 

Folks not happy with their rulings have an extensive right to appeal them.

Which order in particular are you referring to. Don’t be surprised if President Pete, Warren, Biden...whomever...doesn’t spend the bulk of their time immediately after being sworn in cleaning up a big pile of Denison’s EO’s.

I couldn't find an article that was relevant to my question and was certain that one of the deep into politics people here could answer the question.

Google just keeps returning Trump blocked by this or that but never could find the answer to court refusing to allow President Trump to rescind an Obama executive order.

I believe your reply as a leftist more accurately might have been I never answer a question that might show my hypocrisy or the error of my position.
