extinct animals similar to global warming

Back from the dead

"More than a third of mammal species that have been classified as extinct or possibly extinct, or flagged as missing, have been rediscovered.’
Mammals that suffered from loss of habitat were the most likely to have been declared extinct and then rediscovered, she said.
Species spread out over larger areas were also more likely to be wrongly classified as extinct.
The mistakes cannot be blamed on primitive technology or old fashioned scientific methods.

Most scientists are engaged in a massve conspiracy to deceive the people.

But **bleep** Cheney always gives you the straight skinny.

Re: extinct animals similar to global warming

Well, yes, if an animal has not been seen in 20-30 years by anyone, it is natural to assume that the animal MIGHT not be around any more.  They could just be very good at hiding but who knows.  Whereas temperatures are recorded periodically and logged all over the world so it is pretty easy to look at the records and see what it is doing.  I don't think the big argument is whether or not overall earth and water temps are increasing or decreasing.  Rather I think it comes down to whether you believe that man's activities are/can/could be a factor in it.  You on the right seem to look at it the same way you look at American Soldiers--He is perfect and would not and could not ever do anything criminal.  Your rose colored glasses are smudged up pretty bad IMHO.

And you assume the pro man made global warming scientist are like the American soldiers you are speaking of.

That doesn't even make sense.  I'm not assuming anything but I give the guy who points out things that man does like putting mega chemicals on dirt, quail, rabbits, mice, etc. so he can grow corn does have consequences somewhere down the stream from it is sprayed.  Or that all the exhaust of noxious fumes from combustible engines pollutes the air in large cities.  I can see as that scientist does that these things are not great for the environment and that we should think about trying to clean up at least some of it.  I don't say and neither does he, that man causes ALL of the troubles of the world but he certainly contributes to them.  And, no, I don't see him nor the soldiers as perfect.  I KNOW better.  There are dirt bags in all professions in this world.

"has not been seen in 20-30 years by anyone"

In your opinion who is the anyone?  These animals might also have been seen by many people that didn't have an agenda to push.  They might also have been ignored by those who are forever forecasting doom and gloom.

The facts are that the earth is very large, animals adapt and man isn't everywhere.  Especially the man who looks for animals that may exist or not exist.

I've never seen you so and can only believe that you exist because someone posts under the identity of schnurrbart,  maybe you are really here.

I'll be nice and just say that I think you are dead wrong.
