financial curiosity, and opportunity
https://qz.com/1686230/argentinas-100-year-bonds-dive-on-primary-election-shock/
Argentina is the place where economic theories go to die- left or right- they all fail. Most recently it has been the more orthodox, "conservative" side's turn.
Nevertheless, that nation was able to float a 100 yr bond issue at a pretty reasonable rate under 9%. I guess if you wait long enough Confederate dollars and Continentals are worth something too. I gather that Enron stock certs fetch a fair price on EBay.
But here's the deal. That nation is chock full of the potential white immigrants that the US- and W. Europe desperately need. OK, they're sort of a Spanish, Italian, Jewish agglomeration but for the most part they're no darker than a 5 on the George Hamilton scale.
Not sure how they are at plucking chickens and milking cows but they could learn.
