free speech

Do you think sending a picture of a kkk hood to a black person is hate speech or free speech?

Or terroristic threatening?

Re: free speech

Do you know their intent? Why did they do that and why pick a specific person?

You can stop there and in today's world it's hate speech - unless you work for teen vogue or rap.

the person sending doesn't like the politics of the person receiving.

Re: free speech

I would much rather tolerate your example, along with all forms printed, recorded, or performed pornography, bigotry, hatred, and outright sedition before I would ever allow another person to judge for me what I may or may not listen to or view in this life.

In truth, there are all kinds of things in the world that greatly offend me that I will nevertheless tolerate in the name of free speech. Include in this group Nazis, fascists, Communists, Muslims, old Wobbly guys, mostly peaceful BLM/Antifa protesters who are not themselves rioting, and elected Democratic Party officials.

Let the people decide. If you do not like what is said or seen, then counter it with more of your own speech, but please try not to impede that which you despise.
