The most interesting thing about yesterday was the exit polls. They strongly support the notion that Trump turns out voters to vote against him in large numbers. The only surprise would have been if that weren't the case given that he's the least popular sitting President in history and arguably the most polarizing (Barry had that effect on some folks, ahem, too).

You've got 12 months to overthrow the constitution and replace it with Consititution Lite- the one that's like the 1950s, with the unwritten rules.

Better get going.

in a month, in AL. It is redder than arterial blood and one of the half dozen states where Trump's approval still tops 50%.

That said, I'm guessing that Moore will run very substantially behind any recent statewide Republican candidate.

In that case it will be, in part, a matter of the specific candidate more than any indication of trend. 

But anything inside of 6-7 pts ought to really concern you.

There are a couple outliers in both directions but the Moore/Jones polls mostly cluster in the Moore +6-8 range.

That's in a state that Trump won by 28%.

VA and NJ fell right in line with the earlier polls although a couple late ones showing Gillespie closing in had Ds in a panic.

It would be fair to guess AL will fall about where it is polling.
