With so much talk about black lives matter I wondered if there is an actual organization like the NAACP or The Pennsylvania Prison Society, NBJC, We Are Here, Million Hoodies, BYP,  or My Brother’s Keeper. 

According to Huffpost there are 28 recognized African American organizations the "empower black communities.

If there is an organization and there is leadership do you think they will be receiving corporate funding?

It's obvious that the Democratic party has pandered to them.  Saw somewhere how much BLM has contributed to Democratic Presidential candidates, and other Democratic candidates, although the BLM Foundation apparently claims to be tax exempt, with contributions to them deductible as charitable contributions.

And, based on the all-day news coverage of the Floyd funeral today, it's obvious that the network news media has completely bought into all of it.  If someone came out from under their rock today and turned on the TV, they would think that some world leader or head of state had passed away.

I noticed that a gofundme account had gone over $13,000,000.

I suspect there's going to be some Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton that's going to be a lot richer.

One of the head honchos at Crossfit tweeted "Floyd 19" in a discussion and that was all it took, he was forced to resign and outta there.  George Floyd shouldn`t have been choked to death, although according to his rap sheet, he did deserve it.  I mean, the guy was involved in a home invasion and pointed a gun at a pregnant lady`s stomach, in my book Floyd should`ve been shot in the head by cops that day back in 2007. 

But look at "Floyd`s legacy" in death the riots, the destroyed businesses, the money gone out of the economy, blood and I`m sure a few deaths related to these senseless protests.  George Floyd was a menace to society in life, but damage inflicted in his name post mortem far exceeds any damage he could`ve accomplished in life. 

I see murals created of Floyd in "angel`s wings", the death of a criminal has truly become yet another religion of the Left wing.

Floyd did not "deserve" to die at the hands of policemen on the street for suspicion of trying to pass a counterfeit $20.

Floyd also did not "deserve" the status he has apparently achieved, at least in some quarters, in death.

The protests, looting and riots in the name of George Floyd, were not really about George Floyd, they were opportunists taking advantage of the situation to push their agenda.  Whether or not that agenda is one (or several) which should be pursued is a separate matter.
