Re: kinda funny

The whole thing goes back to their religion. This poofter think plays on their mind and some even lose sleep over it. He posted it to have a dig at the government tolerating gays. End of story. He is pathetic.

Re: You are only

You would be surprised what societal pressures can do to a lad or lady.

Yep- Some actually go against their inner grain to appease parents, the church, etc, as a last ditch effort to either finally accept or for some their family so effed up suicide is the only way for them to see a way out.

The new generation wont have to go through that, and if Christians really value life as they claim they will realize this is why Equality is a good thing.

You are so correct about societal pressure.

In some families and society groups homosexuality is so condemned and frowned upon that many homosexuals  try their darndest to not admit to their real feelings.

This almost always leads to unhappiness to many people.

Instead of accepting the way they are they try to be something they are not and marry someone of the opposite sex without the true feelings to make it work.

This eventually leads to breakup of the marriage and children raised by one parent.

People living in the real world know this happens if they just admitted it to themselves as almost everyone knows someone from a situation like that.

If society let people be what they are there would be far fewer, if any, of those unions that were going to be forced into a breakup because one partner was not happy in a heterosexual relationship.

Like a child being taught they can not write the word God or Jesus in their classroom.

That would of course depend on what context they wrote about their god.

I can not see why they could not include their god in a fiction story.

Yes, according to the state they have to be taught their belief is wrong. And if they continue to believe they is something wrong with them.

They are taught the facts that are supported by evidence.

If their 'beliefs' are not supported by facts or contradicted by facts then that is good since they will be learning the truth about the universe.

Why would you bother teaching them that?

Did you teach them that Sam Spade never lived too?

Any school I can think of would stick to math, science and language with a little history too.
