<More good news on the marijuana front

Doctors are noticing some health advantages to marijuana use. Some evidence that it is helpful to control obesity. Secondly, evidence that diabetics need less insulin if they use pot.

I thought the "selling point" was it increased the appetite of cancer patients, giving them the "muchies" if you will.  Usually potheads are skinny because they move on to meth or heroin or whatever..but to each their own.

Next the government will force insurance companies to provide free pot to all.

Now don, i have to Ageee with ba on this one. A good pot buzz (so i'm told) will always bring on the "munchies" along with the euphoria. For the record, I have no experience with this.

I don't either. I understand that medical marijuana is beneficial in curbing nausea so that those with that problem can eat and keep it down. On the other hand those the eat excessively due to anxiety or for comfort may be less likely to snack constantly.

 

How many of us grab a donut when we aren't even hungry just because it makes us feel good?
