maybe 14 year olds should be allowed to vote

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/272740-ohio-judge-rules-some-17-year-olds-can...

Under this ruling the implication is that because they will be 18 and able to vote by the time the election comes they should be able to vote at 17.

I had friend who had a sister that couldn't seem to get home by curfew, sometimes by 10 minutes.  She argued it was only 10 minutes but still ended up grounded because it was past the time she was supposed to be home.

We now seem to have a nation like that.

If we follow the logic then a 14 year old will be able to vote during the time the president is elected  and of course will be impacted by the actions of the president so they too should be allowed to vote.  They would be no worse than the people that don't understand
English or have alzhiemers or are dead.

Re: maybe 14 year olds should be allowed to vote

Over the recent past 17 year olds who will be 18 by the date of the general election have been allowed to vote in primaries ahead of general elections in over 20 states, including Ohio.

The GOP Ohio Sec. Of State, an activist tea bbag....err...partier, arbitrarily made the change in that in the state.

Judge did his job.  The shift in policy was a transparently partisan piece of political hackery.

They can only vote in the primary if their birthday is before the general election.  What is your major problem other than being a freaking moron??
