national security council ??
well it was quiet for a while, so now we start in.
i don't understand or believe this.
wall street times and new york post both reporting, tweetybird has been busy with his pencil again.
the latest......try this one one.
he as put is "political advisor", bannon on the national security council, and REMOVED, the director of national
intelligence, and the commander of the joint cheifs of staff......
that is just wrong......what does bannon know compaired to the head of intelligence and a rep from the joint cheif of staff (defence department)
it just get's more and more out of wack every day !!
almost looks like a move to have an excuse of denyability.........."i didn't know"....."i wasn't told'........and can put the blame on others
would be what i'd advise if i wanted to get away from responsibility, and could be blamed for something.

Re: national security council ??
(These guys...)
You have to admit that Trump's fitness program is working a lot better than Michelle Obama's "Lets Move - Diet & Fitness Program". The downside is that there are a lot of Liberal heads exploding with rage - but it is sure good comedy watching the protestors, CNN & MSNBC.
Remember all the protesters, & the liberal outrage, when President Obama implemented a 6 month ban on Iraq muslims in 2011? - yea, I don't either.

Re: national security council ??
What does talking about liberals have to do with
This post. It you would take the time to put
Some eyedropper in to clear the blood out
For they could see and read, they might understand
Where I'm comming from. It's not a political
Comment, but one of logic. Booting off the
National Intel secy and the chair of the joint
Cheif of staff, and replace with on personal
Advisor..
I just don't see the logic
I'm sorry

Re: national security council ??
Sounds to me like the basic (statutory) National Security Council is -- President, Vice President, Sec of State, Sec of Defense, and Sec of Energy. Anybody else is who the President wants, or who the group needs for advisors at any given time. Just because it isn't the same as previous President shouldn't be a matter of great concern. In fact, accountability isn't compromised at all.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_National_Security_Council
The National Security Council is chaired by the President. Its members are the Vice President (statutory), the Secretary of State (statutory), the Secretary of Defense (statutory), the Secretary of Energy (statutory), the National Security Advisor (non-statutory), and the Secretary of the Treasury (non-statutory).
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is the statutory military advisor to the Council, the Director of National Intelligence is the statutory intelligence advisor, and the Director of National Drug Control Policy is the statutory drug control policy advisor. The Chief of Staff to the President, Counsel to the President, and the Assistant to the President for Economic Policy are also regularly invited to attend NSC meetings. The Attorney General, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency are invited to attend meetings pertaining to their responsibilities. The heads of other executive departments and agencies, as well as other senior officials, are invited to attend meetings of the NSC when appropriate.
