The libertarian bit that is purportedly where Sammy started from (although we can never have been certain of that as much evidence points to his having always been more of a christianist and ethnic nationalist zealot, with the libertarianism having been fused in in some strange effort to give credibility to the misogyny, but whatever) is crazy.

I’ve always tested/surveyed to lean that way.  Most Democrats in any circles I hang out in tend to be more libertarian than authoritarian left (as the whacko Right is attempting to paint anybody left of Bob Dole or Chuck Hagel as being.

If there is going to be any institutional future for libertarianism in the West, COVID was a really, really bad mountain to chose to die on.

Maybe he is more representative than I think.  It’s been obvious that to the fused, comprehensive radical right that this matter has never been about the disease. Never been about public health.

No prog is in the slightest libertarian Bruce.  You most of all.

Letting people smoke pot and molest children is not what libertarianism is about.

Progressivism is about using the power of government to force change in society. Force is antithetical to libertarian philosophy.   

Put a mask on if you want, get a vac if you want, only associate with businesses that require such things if you want.  Asking government to enforce that on others in anyway makes you not libertarian but authoritarian.
