Re: obalmo costs america an ally

Way to go, 20, another of your foolish unsubstantiated statments. Someday, maybe you should check and see if your stepping in it, again. Because in this instance your all wet.

We think the answer is simple. The offshore exploration, production and service industry in the Gulf of Mexico, to the best of our knowledge, is 100 percent nonunion and increasingly foreign. Past attempts to organize these workers have been met with bitter opposition — not from employees but from employers. These largely anti-union employers struggle in a volatile, hyper-competitive environment that has resulted in unsafe working conditions and unstable employment. Lack of union representation has denied oil-field workers a voice in the workplace, which in turn has created an out-of-control industry with little oversight or accountability. It is painful to see oil-soaked birds receive more media attention than injured, deceased or displaced workers. It is also painful to see the lack of an organized workers' voice in the legislative and regulatory processes contribute to 11 deaths and the worst spill in U.S. history. This clearly did not have to happen.

Re: somebody else will have to answer

Now thats realy amusing two pipeline comlpanies wanted to hire you on your HS ag teacher recomendation.    I personal know two fellows who have worked on pipe welding for years and no pipeline co  will hire a HS kid on ag recomend, ifn fact they must recereifiy periodicaly. Get real.   The owners the crude not US co's we will refine its and there is something about no tax obligations I presume thats Canada.   There is a over supply of sand crude and with this pipeline will reduce that over supply  giving canada crude to move up in price.    Forget the silly silver dimes who cares it has  nothing to do with this pipeline.

Re: somebody else will have to answer

That is my point, farmer. If they had any idea of selling it to the US, why don't they,(TransCanada) build their own refinery up there close to the source? Then they can sell it to the US, send it where ever they want, but there is a problem. They don't want the extra expense of building a refinery, they just want to send that d amn sludge to the Gulf, where they can sell it to China, as you can see, we don't have refinery capacity to take on any additional crude anyway, that's why we're not going to get it.
