of coursse schnurrbart ignores

Obama today will leave unsaid, of course, that everyone’s taxes will also go up if the Senate fails to return and act on the House-passed year-long payroll tax cut extension.

Tell me why would he want to join in a discussion with someone who obviously has no clue as to what is going on? Because, fool, you don't know sh!T!

Re: of coursse schnurrbart ignores

Wehave starts a new post with the following:  "Obama today will leave unsaid, of course, that everyone’s taxes will also go up if the Senate fails to return and act on the House-passed year-long payroll tax cut extension."

To which GTO replies with the following: "Tell me why would he want to join in a discussion with someone who obviously has no clue as to what is going on? Because, fool, you don't know sh!T!"

Which leads me to wonder just how many bitter pills GTO takes every morning to have such a sunny and friendly disposition?

Shoot first and then don't ask any questions.

Good thing you don't have a bias.

Re: of course schnurrbart ignores

The senate did their work. Congress can elect to accept the bill or reject it and take the credit or blame for it. The senate is not obligated to keep on dancing to congresses tune. Or the tea party tune. What this is all about is the tea baggers wanting to extract every possible concession they can.

Re: of course schnurrbart ignores

It's also a good thing they can't stand to see there wonderful party blown apart by their own kind.

I think that should just about do it for the T Party and Grover Norquist.

With an 11% approval rating for Congress, why in hell would the President want to be a part of that?? Smartest man I know. Let the fools destroy themselves.

BTW, dagwud, those aren't bitter pills, they a happy pills, watching a bunch of no-nothings ruin their party is a HOOT!!  LOL!!

Re: of course schnurrbart ignores

For Pete's sake Don wake up.   This has nothing to do with bias or even politics.   Wehave made a very mild post and never attacked anyone.   GTO immediately fires back : "Tell me why would he want to join in a discussion with someone who obviously has no clue as to what is going on? Because, fool, you don't know sh!T!"

GTO comes off as extremely immature and angry.  He sounds more like a young black man trying to become a rapper then an elderly white man discussing politics on a farmer chat site.

Not surprising though Don to see you then attack me yet again.   Be heck I can take it and who knows maybe it helps you from kicking the neighbors dog for the day.

I'm starting to get worried though.  Does this mean I will get more inmature as I get older or do some folks just never mature?

Re: of course schnurrbart ignores

Now we are talking about something of substance.  I agree with GTO that Norquist is harming the Repub party and making them look weak or scared to voiced their own opinion.   My problem with all these various tax cut extension and other gimmicks use to try and make temporary improvements is that most are so temporary.   Seems every couple of months Congress must come back and re-fight the same fight all over again.

I think all the uncertainty surroundings all these temporary actions pretty much over shadows any improvements or good they had hoped to gain.

Re: of coursse schnurrbart ignores

I'm guessing Obama would also like to ignore the fact that the entire discussion debunks most of the myths associated with social security.

Re: of course schnurrbart ignores

I completely disagree, dagwud. What is happening right now is proveing to these people, they are on their own, that even people in their own party can see what this has the potential of doing. The TParty is NOT a voice of the majority of American people, and i my view, unless they are as fervent as maybe I think they are they, had better change course, or they will become just another asterisk in the history books.
