According to this poll Trump has a greatr advantage over your previous presidents since far fewer people think he can do the job successfully he therefore is less likely to disappoint since people are already expecting tobe disappointed.

4 years from now if not sooner we will all know if he was able to disapoint more people or not.

According to a Gallup poll released Monday, Americans have significantly less faith in Trump than they had in his predecessors. Only 44% said they are confident Trump will avoid major scandals in his Administration, 46% said they are confident in Trump’s ability to handle an international crisis, and 47% said they trust him to use military force wisely. When the same questions were asked at the start of Barack Obama’s, George W. Bush’s and Bill Clinton’s terms, roughly three-quarters of Americans said they had confidence in the newly elected President in these areas.
When compared with Gallup’s averages of confidence polling in his predecessors, Trump comes up short: he has a 32-point confidence deficit in his ability to avoid scandals in his Administration, a 29-point deficit in his ability to use military force well and a 28-point deficit in his ability to manage the Executive Branch. Most Americans (60%) believe Trump will be able to get things done with Congress, but even there he comes up far behind his predecessors — the average number of Americans with confidence in Obama, Bush and Clinton to work with Congress was 82%.

Well, to be honest Trump or George Washington or Jesus Christ of "loaves  & fishes" fame would have their work cut out for them.   No president or leader in the history of the world has this much debt to deal with, probably 20 years ago that amount of money wasn`t even in existence.   trump has the right answers...what you hear from Trump IS what it will take to straighten things out.   But look how demographically polarized this country has become, we are anything but a "united" states.  If half the country is pulling the rope and the other half is sleeping or pulling the rope in the other direction with a record amount of debt, how will we survive?  I mean seriously.

Obama was given too much confidence, he had a thin resume` and uniting a country was definitely not his strong suit.  He was elected and re elected for totally the wrong reason, it certainly wasn`t for his ability.   And I don`t know if this country can come back from that 8 wasted years.   I believe that our last chance was to have elected a good leader in 2008 and there was still time to turn it around, now I really don`t know, the man on the white horse is here about one decade too late.

There`s an old Norwegian saying :  "We get old too soon and smart too late"  and that is exactly what happened.

The problem Trump will have is every where you look he has adversaries.  The illegals, the welfare recipients, the Democrats (probably a repeat of the first two), RHINO's, banks, old line news, entrenched bureaucrats, government workers and a population that has had a liberal education.

Harry Dent was on the Noory show this morning, he`s saying that the "bubble will burst later this year"...stock market crash 40%, the only reason we aren`t in the beginings of it now is the "Trump effect".   Hillary would`ve already been toast by now had she won, this Keynesanism spending yourself rich has come to the end of the line and now it`s the day of reckoning.  Hillary, being an elite insider would own the crash, but Trump the "outsider" might not get the full blame.

I don`t know if Dent will be right or what his gloom & doom track record has been, but with all this debt and divided country it certainly makes sense that we`re in for a bumpy ride.
