With regards to this gun fascism debate, never let your children speak to a dr.  maybe not even a teacher.  If some quack says they have ADHD their rights are gone forever.  Make sure you never tell your dr if you smoke.  Never be proscribed any drug to help break the habit.   Never ever tell your dr if drink that will be used against you.

This could save obamacare cause no one will want to go to a dr knowing .gov will see it all.

The teacher will tell child services your child has ADHD and if you do not take him/her to see the doc they will have your child removed from the home. Remember what that babe Harris said"the child belongs to the community". Even Hillary said it takes a village.

That`s right Sam, a "constitution" is only as good as the government and that currently isn`t very good.  We can`t count on SCOTUS...Oliver Wedell Holmes is spinning in his grave.

I was thinking about this the other day, we had the "Cold War" Korea, Vietnam, ME skrimishes ..spent our country into the hole, people`s morals went with it.  I don`t know how bad the soviets could`ve given our 2 Amendment...they would`ve had a tough time just taking Texas  

But here we are a little over half the country has figured out how to vote their way into the other half`s backpocket(something Ben Franklin warned about)  My point is all the fighting, money wasted, productivity wasted, morality drained and we lose the country anyway, through the ballot box. 

Didn`t Pogo say "we have met the enemy and the enemy is us" ...Here we were worried about soviet missles and mutually assured distruction, while all along a few well placed university professors, movie producers, politicians and news media and we lost the country without a shooting war, only a few votes in the ballot box.  Sad? youbetcha.

what you mean by a child's rights being gone forever if a quack says they have ADHD.  i have a family member that was diagnosed with ADHD.  i am not going to get into a debate about whether ADHD is a myth or not, but I would appreciate you ellaborating on your statement about their rights.

Their second amendment rights. They'll be denied on background checks. The law proposed waves hippa protections for anything mental related. Crazy people should be denied, but it should be with judicial review.

  ADD/ADHD is not a "mental" disease, disorder any more than being left handed, which is the manifestation of the physical properties of ones brain.   If The People allow their government discriminate against ADD/ADHD people, that would be about 20-25% OF THE POPULATION.  Divide and conquer.

“John Doe, an upstanding professional with no outstanding criminal convictions and no history of violent action received a letter from the Pistol Permit Department informing him that his license was immediately revoked upon information that he was seeing a therapist for anxiety and had been prescribed an anxiety drug. He was never suicidal, never violent, and has no criminal history. The New York State Department of Health is apparently conducting a search of medical records to determine who is being treated for anxiety drugs and using this as a basis for handgun license revocation.

Those are the facts. Nothing more, nothing less.
Now, before anyone trots out the old saw about how this is nothing more then a paranoid, unsubstantiated rumor on a “gun nuts” internet forum. I spoke to the Attorney of Record in this matter on the phone this morning and he confirmed that the above snippet is accurate andthese cases are happening 

James Tresmond Esq confirmed in our conversation that the above mentioned case is occurring in Erie County NY, it is his client that has been effected, and as yet unknown sources have seen fit to take it upon themselves to share confidential medical records with NY State Officials without authorization, a massive HIPPA violation.

It seems these supposedly confidential records are then compared against a list of known NY pistol license holders and letters are sent out demanding their Pistol Owner ID Cards be surrendered, as well as any firearms and accessories.

So it is not only guns they are after, it is also privacy. How do the feds get a hold of medical records. My wife can't even get mine unless I sign a release.
