Re: "Hillary Clinton has never been vetted"

Yes. Because it affects them in a very personal and private way.

there is more intelligence displayed in every issue of the National Review than in a decade of Huffpo or

Daily Kos.

Re: "Hillary Clinton has never been vetted"

Been eating on me some.

Look in to the US Administration's efforts at diplomacy at the end of WW1 in Europe. If had been heeded might have avoided WW2.  In fact, in response to Red's hideous accusation of "decimation", US-German relations and various connections had made our involvement in the war quite controversial here and played a part in Wilson's proposals that would have made conditions much less severe there for the next 20 years, which may have made it impossible for facsism to gain a foothold.

Brian is right as rain about how some of this "just know" comes to be.  God help us if it becomes manifest.

More FAULTY intelligence.  You don't believe anything that says something you personally don't believe in.  NOTHING that puts liberalism or liberals in a good light is believable right??

wasting your ammo

You guys should be hoping and praying that Hillary nails down the nomination as the dems were for Trump. He has a chance of beating her but probably not him.

Hillary presents relatively little threat to the things you claim to value, Sanders considerably greater should he have any sort of congress to work with.

Hillary presents a perfect foil for a Trump campaign that will be utterly incohent but hhighly enerbized by clinton/Obama hatred.

Smiley Very Happy  Believe it or not Nox, I don`t wander in that direction...Let`s be realistic unless the Moon crashes into the Earth, it`ll be Trump vs Hillary, that is what we have to go on on this Memorial day.

Either the voters will go for Trump or they won`t...I know some probably think the only shot Trump has is if he`s against a weak candidate like Hillary and presumably Bernie would be stronger?

Bernie has the same albeit different baggage than Hillary...there are probably more than a few Dems that have a buck or two would still be scared of a socialist.  To be really honest, if I wanted the weakest candidate to go against Trump, it`d be the socialist Sanders.

Re: wasting your ammo

I will acknowledge this-

Bernie is far more popular than either Clinton or Trump and there are no skeletons to come out. Insofar as that goes, the notion that he hasn't faced the degree of scrutiny and attack as Clinton really doesn't wash. It's hard to get much traction from calling someone a socialist when he's running as one.

What is true is that if he somehow manages to snag the nomination you're going to see monied interest groups circle the wagons like you've never seen before- that would include Big Government Ag- which you always manage to defend in some fashion or another via the BA Two Step.

All of those major interests- healthcare, defense, Ag, finance can actually be quite comfortable with Hillary, as they were with Bill. And I'm sure that if and when the expected Clinton nomination occurs they'll be very carefully calculating where their interests are served.

One of the interesting things to watch is going to be how Trump picks the what bones he's going to throw and to whom. He's already lining up the fossil fuels interests and has declared the California drought a hoax which might gain some support from broader agricultural brethren.

Re: wasting your ammo

Sanders would be a weak general election candidate for several

reasons, money not the least of them. Anyone with a pot to pee in

is not apt to donate any money to Bernie...his best hope would be

to get those untraceable credit card donations like Barry did from

guess where.

Also, Sanders doesnt pander to Blacks, Jews, etc.....he isnt going

to have 30% of the population locked up from the getgo.

Sanders would get beat worse than McGovern did, especially

after Trump made a bigger fool out of him in the debates....the msm

guys might softball him on socialism questions but Trump sure as

heck isnt going to.
