You're a very bad person BA for not agreeing to and abiding by the social covenant of pretending not to know what you know. You know that the government exists for its own interests, you're supposed to pretend that it exists for the people's interest. Get with the program, before we reduce your social score into negative territory.

😄 Sam. We gotta say this truth while we still can. But this "wealth tax" Sinema and Manchin are going to fold on....."aw that`ll just before Elon Musk and the Koch brothers", but there`ll be mission creep. I`m sure it`s up Nox`s alley, eventually soaking the BTO and his female homecoming queen wife.

Re: "wealth tax will only affect 1,000 rich families"
BA, have you ever read or watched The 300 Spartans, and remember the story of the envious hunchback that shows the Persians the secret passage that will let them get behind the courageous Spartans and end the siege?
Doesn't nutz seem to come across like that hunchback....a malcontent that is jealous of the success of others and doesn't care if he brings the whole country down.
You can extrapolate that to the other doofuses of his ilk, too.

Re: "wealth tax will only affect 1,000 rich families"
Yes, I recall during the 80s a guy from the coop delivered soybean meal and he was nice enough and we bull shiited while the bin was filling. It become quickly apparent that he didn`t like farmers, I asked Dad if he knew the guy and yes, he`d farmed and went broke. So, this guy in order to cope with the bad hand he was dealt in agriculture decided to take it out on all farmers (99% of us aren`t that bad) .
And I`ve met others who say "If I go broke, I`ll try it again, I`ve went broke before and had to start over"...perhaps that is a little too lackadaisical and some of them should seek other enterprises 🙂

BA, I have been there before and might be there soon....December, snow hitting me in the face, the helpers quit or hunting or in Florida, and getting the crop out and remembering what I learned from my father.
"Failure is NOT an option."

It`s early Red, not even Halloween! 🙂 I remember finishing beans before Thanksgiving supper (supposed to been dinner 12:00 ) I recall picking corn in the December snow. Markets are going up as each day passes.

There is a little factoid I've pointed out here before BA that the progs running the country also know very well.
Agricultural land in this country is 98% lily white owned.
One of our local progs is getting ready to type that since you participated in farm programs the public has a claim on your land. They've already got the rational they'll use to take everything you've got. "you didn't do that"

Re: Roads?
I'm old enough to remember what rural roads were like back in the 1950s. You wouldn't call most of them roads today. Hell, you won't even call them farm roads, cowpaths more like. We still have a few of them around here, they serve as a vivid reminder of what your so-called roads were like back then.

Re: "wealth tax will only affect 1,000 rich families"
Rather as expected, but a failure of imagination to not be able to recognize that extreme concentration of wealth and income is much more a threat to you.
