I don't know much about the potential "discriminatory" laws that might be on the books in various states, etc.  On the other hand, just because someone is sensitive to the "race" question, it still doesn't necessarily mean that it is currently "discriminatory" in any way, even if the origin of the question was clearly "discriminatory".  IMO, I don't see any legitimate reason to have a "race" question on anything, unless it's a medical form and perhaps there's certain ailments which might be more prevalent for some people (said only because I think there is 1 or 2, like sickle-cell).  Beyond potential situations such as that, the "race" question should be eliminated altogether.

Virginia is run by governor Coon Blackface Northam. I have not heard a single proposal from him for change.
