so different
Meanwhile, Representative Beto O’Rourke had a pair of felony arrests in his mid-to-late 20s, including a reckless drunk-driving incident in which he crashed into a car and allegedly tried to flee from the scene. The cases appear to have mysteriously disappeared without serious prosecution, notwithstanding that O’Rourke continues to deny basic facts outlined in at least one police report.
So, what really happened? We don’t know. See, Representative O’Rourke is a Democrat.
Not just that. O’Rourke is the Democrat running for a Senate seat against Ted Cruz, the Republican incumbent who is a favorite of grass-roots conservatives. Consequently, the press and Democrats have about as much interest in probing O’Rourke’s checkered past as they do in exploring allegations against Keith Ellison — the hard-Left Minnesota congressman, attorney-general candidate, and deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee, who has been accused of physically abusing his longtime girlfriend.
O’Rourke appears to be quite the character, notwithstanding the media’s indifference.

Ellison....quite the guy
misogynist , hates farmers, hates Christians, hates free enterprise....
Remember when Bruce posted that Franken and Ellison should be at the top of the line for 2020 democratic POTUS candidates?

Re: Democrat hypocrisy
There`s a couple of Republican ladies that have a radio show out of the cities on I think 1130am I was listening to Saturday afternoon and boy they have no time for lay me Amy or Keith Ellison. And the callers are livid about the way "lay me" treated Kav. Minnesota isn`t a liberal state as many have labeled it, it`s just Minnesota nice lets wolves like Amy Klobuchar into your homes because she eats lamb testicles at the fair with the Bohemians and Norwegians and we think "she`s one of us" ….nothing could be further from the truth! Lay me gets a "F" rating from the NRA. Fricken Tina Smith does commercials from a weedy soybean field and pushes a Holstein calf into a hut, all while wearing her $200 Miss Me jeans and a flannel shirt "Vote for me, I`m one a you!".
One of the gals on the radio show would like to ask Amy Klobuchar "in your years as a prosecutor, would you have charged Judge Kavanaugh with the evidence that is out there? Of course you wouldn`t!".

Re: so different
Choice against Cruz ? They should have known
That that problem would have blown up
In their face when the campaign got rolling.
((And understand I'm somewhat of a Democrat !!))
I think Democrats in and of themselves are
Not all that bad...it's those running the party
That are a bit different.
Here in KS for gov. The rep have a name running
((All be it a bit tarnished))...but the gal they picked
Is an unknown...and has voted to raise taxes.
But the other fellow wants to do what brownback
Did....and look where that lead us...a mess.
Isn't there any good people left anymore ?

Re: so different
Havy, no secret! Nothing new. He admitted to it before his election in 2012. He compiled a DWI course that TX has in place. I got a speeding in Az that had a $160 fine. They offered me a driver’s course for $120 and no points on my license and no report to my insurance. Of course, I took the offer. So again he took a course designed by Texas motor vehicle dept and that was it. So what’s your point?
