so if Trump fires Sessions
and the Senate won't confirm a new AG?
BTW, it appears that McCain made it past the point where a special election would be held and should he succumb before fall, Gov. Doucey will appoint a (presumably loyal) replacement.
Still only takes two GOP votes to deep six any confirmation, which seems likely.
Maybe he'll try the end run that some have speculated- move Pruitt over and argue that he's already been confirmed.
That also seems likely to end up in the SCOTUS, and as noted elsewhere, I suppose there's some writing of a few of the wig and breeches boys to suggest that was their original intent?
