socialism anyone?

South of the border a documentary filmed by Oliver Stone is a rather interesting accumulation of interviews of leaders of south America that are casting off the power and influence of America and the Europeans on their countries and their politics.

Venezuela, Brazil Argentina and others are paying off their IMF obligations and moving toward self rule. They are no longer going to worshiop at the altar of capitalism where those that have less are locked into abject poverty. Some countries have a 50% poverty rate as aresult of profiteers sucking the life blood out of ther economies.

If you get a chance see the film and their philosophy from a differnt perspective and then you can go into your usual rant about the glories of capitalism.
